Sherri Y. Johnson is a Philadelphia native, communications professional, and community advocate with a lifelong passion for serving others. Raised in a faith-filled home, she learned early the value of humility, compassion, and giving back.
A graduate of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (B.A. in English, Communications) and LaSalle University (M.A. in Professional Communications), Sher began her career in radio and television broadcasting, working with stations including WDAS-AM and WGTW-TV 48. In 1997, she founded Supreme Gospel Record Pool—Philadelphia’s first all-gospel DJ organization—followed by Supreme Gospel Entertainment & Ministries, a nonprofit dedicated to outreach through music, mentorship, and ministry.
Sher is happily married to her husband Trevor Roye and they are the proud parents of two daughters. She finds purpose in helping those in need—locally, regionally, nationally, and abroad—and lives by the principle: “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” Her favorite scripture is Psalm 121:1–2.
