Supreme Gospel Entertainment & Ministries (SGEM) was birthed by Sherri Y. Johnson in 1998 originally as Philadelphia’s 1st all Gospel Deejay Record Pool. Soon after, Sherri decided to broaden her horizon and establish SGEM as a multi-faceted nonprofit promotion/marketing and community outreach organization dedicated to addressing the needs of the community while providing exemplary promotional service to clients. Sherri has used the promotions division of SGEM to serve as a hands-on learning experience for youth desirous of entering into the field of Entertainment, Communications and/or The Arts. Coordinating national street team campaigns, hosting events/outreaches and drafting press releases along with related promotional literature for businesses has been instrumental for clients as it has helped them gain more consumer awareness and/or increased clientele.
